Winemaker notes: Orange Wine! A field blend of nearly equal parts chenin blanc, sauvignon blanc, and pinot gris from Heringer Estate Vineyards in the Clarksburg AVA just outside of Sacramento. Chenin frames the wine with structure and counters the big fruit tones of the sauvignon and harmonizes with the pinot gris. After about 3 weeks on the skins the wine is pressed off. Light, bright, chalky orange wine sure to satisfy all the maceration-maniac at your establishment!
About the Winemaker
Wonderwerk (House of Fermentation) is Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy, two high school friends from Virginia seeking new directions in fermentation. They live in Echo Park, LA and make supernatural wines from all over California. They produce and bottle with their own hands and feet. They ride the wavelength from low-intervention to high-innovation, making collaborative ideas come to life in funky new ways. Wonderwerk began as a long night on a disco dancefloor wound down and we didn’t want the party to end. Now, it’s flowed from there into the wines you see and drink today. Come along for the ride fam, bring your dancing shoes and an open mind, we promise we won’t disappoint.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at 10am in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 18 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value!
At $18, we have some of the most competitive shipping rates compared to other low-intervention wine e-commerce, which can range from $20-$25 a box. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. As a small business, we are simply unable to offer free shipping. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
