Lightsome has quickly become one of the most coveted wines in this new wave of natural winemaking in Texas. This 100% Mouvèdre is highly drinkable and crunchy, while having weight and structure. While expressing the unique terrior of Texas Hill County, this wine is more reminiscent of a Mouvèdre you would find in Rhone. We're really excited to continue supporting this brand and to share these wines with you while they are available.

About the Winemaker & Farm
Lightsome Wines is a label started by Adrienne Ballou. Adrienne received a B.S. in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis in 2012. She has worked vintages in Walla Walla, Burgundy, and Australia and developed the fruit refermentation and barrel program for Jester King Brewery. She is currently a winemaker for Southold Farm and Cellar.
Lightsome Wines is a label focused on the production of thoughtful wines made with fruit sourced from vineyards in the Texas Hill Country and Texas High Plains. Lightsome is dedicated to making wines that are expressive of vineyard sites and vintage. The wines reflect a low-intervention approach in the winery, and speak of the fruit that built them.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at 10am in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 18 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value!
At $18, we have some of the most competitive shipping rates compared to other low-intervention wine e-commerce, which can range from $20-$25 a box. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. As a small business, we are simply unable to offer free shipping. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
