The Zeno family has been farming the slopes of Roccamonfina, an extinct volcano on the northern end of Campania for generations. They farm certified Organic Fiano, Falanghina, and Primitivo with biodynamic principles. The wines are fermented in amphorae as a way of honoring the Roman viticultural tradition that has existed in these hillsides for millennia and highlighting the purity of the fruit. Skin-contact amplifies the rich aromatics and structure of fiano. Primitivo is defined by energy and freshness, the volcanic terroir lends this wine more savory than fruit-driven.
