Pinot drinkers not sold on Natural yet? Get ready to go blown away with this Divisions vintage. It will make you wonder why all Pinots in this price range aren't this good.

This Pinot noir is a cuvee of Pinot from multiple vineyards. All the separate Pinot lots were fermented either spontaneously or via a pied de cuve (vineyard native yeast cultivation) build up. Division utilized varying techniques, including a significant portions of whole cluster in some of the ferments - aiming to diversify the styles and texture of the juice and provide more spice, nuance and nerve in the wine.

Aged in French oak, approximately 15% in new barrels and puncheons, for 8 months before being racked to concrete tanks for two months before bottling.

Alc 12.9% // pH 3.72 // 1050 cases

Cassin (25%), Eola Springs (23%), Armstrong (17%), Johan (17%), Owens (10%), Temperance Hill (8%)

Origin: Willamette Valley, OR, USA

About the Winemaker

Division Winemaking Company is a Portland, Oregon based winery founded in 2010 by Kate Norris and Thomas Monroe. Inspired by the wineries of Loire, Beaujolais, Burgundy and the Northern Rhone where they first learned winemaking and viticulture, the urban winery creates Oregon and Washington wines including Pinot Noir, Gamay, Chardonnay, Rose, Chenin, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Cot, Syrah, Grenache, and Sauvignon Blanc. Determined to make approachable and balanced wines though minimal manipulation, the winemakers have a passion to work with well farmed terroir expressive vineyards, many of which are organic and/or Biodynamic®, celebrating the varietals the winemakers loves to drink. Division Winemaking Company includes the flagship Division label, the more approachable Division-Villages label, the Gamine brand inspired by the Rhone Valley and a personal expression of co-founder Kate Norris’ love of the region, as well as the experimental Tripod Project label, a collaboration between co-winemaker Tom Monroe, Barnaby Tuttle of Teutonic Wine and Jesse Skiles of Fausse Piste. Division Winemaking Company is also a member of the PDX Urban Wineries Association. Division Winemaking Company represents a new generation of winemakers that are looking beyond the status quo to create unique styles of wine, with a purpose, a story and without barriers.

Shipping Details

US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at 10am in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.

Shipping cost is 18 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value!

At $18, we have some of the most competitive shipping rates compared to other low-intervention wine e-commerce, which can range from $20-$25 a box. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. As a small business, we are simply unable to offer free shipping. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
