About the Winemaker
Tabeaux Cellars is a family-owned boutique winery established in 2016 by Marcus and Laura Boggs, along with their daughters Julianna and Lydia. Located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, the winery focuses on producing single-origin wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The wines are crafted with minimal intervention, using hand-harvested fruit at its peak ripeness, gravity flow, minimal sulfur, and extended élevage to highlight the natural character of the grapes. Tabeaux Cellars is situated on the historic site of French Garden Ranch, one of California’s earliest wineries, which was once run by the pioneering female winemaker Jeanne Marie Suize, known as Madame Pantaloons. The winery, affectionately referred to as “the farmery,” embodies a commitment to sustainability and quality in winemaking.
