Ojisan 2022 Rose
Ojisan 2022 Rose
New Project by Alex Craighead of Kindeli. “Ojisan” is an informal, affectionate Japanese term for an uncle or middle-age man. Its a playful back-handed complement Alex and his Japanese winemaking colleagues (Kazuomi Fujimaki of Grape Republic) toss around as a way to praise each others skills in the cellar while teasing each other about their impending middle-agedness. The wines are a departure from the Kiwi norm of single varietal and highlight blending as a means of enhancing a wines complexity.

At $30, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
