What is US Natural Wine?
US Natural wine is a virtual bottle shop headquartered out of Austin, TX . We are a small, family team hand-picking, packaging, and shipping our favorite, majority domestic, wines and ciders direct to your door. Our goal is to highlight US-based winemakers, while partnering with some incredible people in the industry to bring you the best domestic selection you can find online. We believe in community and want that quality to shine through in every facet of our platform. We are nothing without the knowledgeable winemakers, shop owners, local distributors, and enthusiasts we’ve teamed up with. With US Natural Wine, every winery is your local winery.

Throughout the site, we find ourselves simply referring to what we offer as 'wine'. We're not much for exclusivity, so we offer tons of wines and ciders that sit on the cusp of what most people deem "natural". Check out the selection and let us know what you think.

What types of products do you offer?
We only pick and purchase the tasty stuff. We aim to keep our inventory majority domestic natural wine- often referred to as low/ no intervention, or living wines- and ciders. While we may have a few handfuls of international offerings, we pride ourselves on shining the spotlight on domestic winemakers.
Orders
How does shipping work?
Shipping is a flat rate of $18 per box shipped. Of course, we recommend buying more than one bottle for the best shipping value.
We ship direct to 35 states. We DO NOT SHIP to: AL, AK, AR, CT, DE, HI, MD, MS, NH, NJ, RI, SD, UT, VT, WV. If you live in one of these states, feel free to message us directly and we can suggest alternative options.
Once you've completed a purchase with USNW, you herby authorize us to transfer the items you purchased to a third-party shipping company. You herby agree to take full responsibility for complying with all laws regarding alcohol in your state.
To keep up with the volume of orders, all orders ship out once a week on Wednesdays. This means the deadline for placing an order is Tuesday at 12 noon CST.
Some real-life transparency from us to you:
Wine is heavy. Like, often hard to carry, heavy. So shipping wine is f**king expensive.
Our boxes are insured and protective because that’s kind of the point. Those boxes cost us on average just over $5 each. So, after doing the math along with some wheelin’ and dealin’, our flat rate shipping price is as fair as it gets, leaving us to eat the shipping costs most of the time. While we are unable to offer free shipping, please know that the wines we offer are priced well with personal input from the winemakers.
We’re not into that 'product mark-up for free shipping' psychology that we’ve personally fallen victim to. Just real, straightforward stuff here y'all.
Do I need to be present to sign for my order?
UPS will verify that the recipient of your wine is 21+ years of age. They may ask to see valid photo identification to verify recipient age and will ask for a signature. Wine cannot be left unattended. following a failed delivery, UPS will attempt to re-deliver your wine up to 3 times.
If you are unable to collect your wine, a $20 restocking fee will be charged to the card used to purchase the product to cover the cost of returning the product to us.
I already placed an order, but I want to add more items!
Adding to your existing order can happen until 12 noon CST on Tuesdays.
Just select your items and pay as normal. At checkout, enter the code “Add More Stuff”. We’ll add it to your existing order, no prob! Contact us if anything at support@usnaturalwine.com
Customer Service
What if I can’t wait a week for my wines (emergency party, life or death sitch, etc.)
While some things are out of our control, if you need your wines urgently, drop us a line and we'll see what we can do for you! support@usnaturalwine.com
Problems with my order
Customer Support:
We want you to love your wines, post them, gift them, tell your friend's cousin's mom about them, etc. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please reach out to us within 30 days of receiving your product here. We will work with you however we can!
Damaged goods:
While extremely rare, damaged or broken bottles upon delivery have happened. Drop us a line, and we will see how to resolve the issue to your complete satisfaction.
Strange Taste??
Low/ no intervention, living, or "natural" wines are completely different than mass-market wines in style, flavor profile, and production methods. Most of the wines we carry are unfiltered, giving the wines a different texture than the more strict and refined conventional wines you may be used to. The winemakers who produce our inventory produce what they believe is real wine, and are not bound by flavor enhancers, or commercial additives.
With very limited to no sulfites added to stabilize them, these wines are essentially free and 'alive', bringing unconventional and vibrant characteristics. Some flavors present, like Brett (Brettanomyces, giving a slight barn-yard scent in certain doses) can be dismissed as a fault at first by some, while others deem it an inherent quality. Before you dismiss one of these wines, take some time to allow them to breathe. Place the corked bottle back in the fridge, and give it another go tomorrow.
