About the Winemaker

Vitivinicola Fangareggi is a family winery in Correggio, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, founded in 2005 by Giuseppe Fangareggi from his passion for viticulture, rooted in his grandfather Augusto's vineyard.

Now managed by father and son Giuseppe and Matteo, the winery maintains a tradition passed down through generations since the great-grandparents' era. Augusto, an experienced oenologist, expertly vinifies all wines in the cellar. The family was recognized as a 'Company of Italian Excellence' in 2016 for their commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability.

Farming & Cellar: The family cultivates 24 hectares across Reggio Emilia and Modena provinces, growing six Lambrusco varieties selected for their ideal terroir. All grapes are hand-pruned and hand-harvested with rigorous bunch selection. Production follows integrated control protocols, minimizing synthetic inputs while maintaining authenticity.
