About the Winemaker
Ovum is the Riesling-focused project of husband and wife team Ksenija Kostic House and John House, crafting distinctive white wines in Oregon since 2011.
Ksenija, originally from Serbia, and John met while working in Oregon wine. Their shared passion for aromatic white varieties led them to focus on Riesling and other cool-climate whites. Ovum has become one of Oregon's most respected producers of terroir-driven white wines.
Farming & Cellar: Ovum sources from sustainably-farmed vineyards across Oregon and beyond. Wines are fermented with native yeasts in neutral vessels, with extended lees aging to build texture. Bottled without fining or filtration, with minimal sulfites.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!
At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!Â
