About the Winemaker
Oudiette x Filles is a grower Champagne house in the Vallée de la Marne, now run by sisters Margot and Charlotte Laurent. The estate represents the third generation of the Oudiette family crafting single-vineyard Champagnes from their holdings in Trélou-sur-Marne.
Margot and Charlotte Laurent took over from their parents to become vigneronnes—women winemakers—carrying forward the family tradition. They have modernized the estate while respecting its heritage, focusing on parcel-specific expressions of Pinot Meunier, the signature grape of the Vallée de la Marne. Their Champagnes emphasize freshness and terroir transparency.
Farming & Cellar: Oudiette x Filles farms sustainably, with minimal treatments in the vineyard. The sisters harvest by hand and press whole clusters gently. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts, and wines undergo extended aging on lees before disgorgement. Dosage is kept low to preserve the purity of fruit and chalky minerality characteristic of their parcels.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
