About the Winemaker
Hubert et Hausherr is a natural wine estate in Alsace, France, producing distinctive wines from this renowned white wine region. The domaine embraces Alsace's rich winemaking heritage while applying contemporary natural wine principles.
The estate works with Alsace's noble grape varieties—Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Muscat—grown on the diverse soils of the region's celebrated terroirs. The winemakers combine deep respect for Alsatian tradition with a commitment to minimal intervention.
Farming & Cellar: Vineyards are cultivated organically, allowing the distinctive Alsatian terroirs to express themselves fully. In the cellar, fermentation is spontaneous using indigenous yeasts, and wines are aged in traditional large oak foudres. The approach is hands-off, with minimal sulfur and no fining or filtration, producing pure expressions of Alsace's unique character.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!
At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
