About the Winemaker

Domaine Timothée Delalle is established on little-known terroirs of Touraine, located west of Tours on the right bank of the Loire. Timothée has produced wines from this 9-hectare estate since 2018, working with Cabernet Franc, Chenin, Grolleau, and Gamay—varieties that thrive on the first hillsides of Luynes and Fondettes.

Timothée trained in Geneva, Switzerland and under the late Loire winemaker Jacky Blot of Tailles Aux Loups and Domaine de la Butte—one of the Loire's most respected estates. This mentorship in the heart of natural wine country shaped his approach. The estate has been certified organic (AB) since 2023, and Timothée's work in the vineyard—including planting density and soil work—all serve terroir expression.

Farming & Cellar: The estate's vineyards sit in two communes with different but complementary geological characteristics that give complexity to the wines. Timothée uses spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfites, allowing full expression of terroir and grape varieties. The 9-hectare domaine focuses on vineyard health and soil vitality, producing wines that reflect the character of this under-appreciated corner of the Loire.
