Highly approachable and light-bodied orange wine. Notes of orange blossom, mandarin orange, jasmine, and overripe mango make for a complex and enticing aroma. The acid is sharply focused, almost prickly, and takes all of the delicate aromas and turns the dial up, sharpening the fruit character and balancing the perfumed floral notes.

About the Winemaker

Müller-Ruprecht is a family estate in Kallstadt, in the northern Pfalz region of Germany, led by Sabine and Philipp Wöhrwag.

Related to the famous Koehler-Ruprecht estate through great-grandparents, Müller-Ruprecht has carved out its own identity with a sharper, more electric style. The young couple with their growing family brings an energy and warmth that permeates their winemaking philosophy. Philipp values community deeply, preferring to share wines with locals from the village rather than focusing solely on international markets.

Farming & Cellar: Certified organic since 2020, the estate gave up pesticides and herbicides in 2006, fighting weeds mechanically. All wines are made from 100% estate fruit, hand harvested. The orange wine features 10 days skin contact, aged in large used wooden barrels with no filtration or fining, resulting in intentionally cloudy wines with texture at low alcohol (10.5% ABV).
