About the Winemaker
Bikicki Winery, located in Banoštor on Serbia's Fruška Gora mountain range, is a small family estate where Djordje Bikicki produces natural wines that have put Serbian winemaking on the international map.
Djordje Bikicki's path to winemaking was unconventional—he was previously a renowned drum'n'bass DJ before discovering his passion for viticulture. He began making wine in his family's vineyards, converting to organic practices in 2019 with guidance from legendary Hungarian natural winemaker Oszkar Maurer. Djordje works primarily with indigenous Serbian varieties like Grašac (Welschriesling), Kadarka, and Prokupac, crafting wines that have garnered international attention and helped establish Fruška Gora as an exciting new frontier for natural wine.
Farming & Cellar: Since 2019, the vineyards have been farmed organically without synthetic chemicals or pesticides. The unique terroir of Fruška Gora—an ancient island in the Pannonian Sea with diverse soils and moderate continental climate—provides ideal conditions for native varieties. In the cellar, Djordje employs wild yeast fermentations, extended skin maceration for whites and oranges, minimal sulfur, and no fining or filtration. The wines are authentic expressions of Serbia's emerging natural wine scene.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.

At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
