About the Winemaker

Fable Farm Fermentory is a diversified fermentation project located in Barnard, Vermont, producing natural wines, ciders, meads, and other 'living wines' from locally grown and foraged ingredients. The farm embodies the New England tradition of working closely with the land.

The Fable Farm team approaches fermentation as a form of storytelling, with each bottle capturing the essence of Vermont's seasons and landscapes. Their philosophy centers on the idea that great fermented beverages come from healthy soils, careful farming, and a deep connection to place.

Farming & Cellar: The farm practices regenerative agriculture, growing diverse fruits and tending hives for mead production. Wild fermentation is central to their approach—wines, ciders, and meads ferment with native yeasts and bacteria, creating complex, living beverages. Nothing is filtered or fined, and sulfur use is minimal to none, allowing each ferment to express its unique character.

US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.

Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!

At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
