Winemaker Notes: A blend of three neutral pinot noir barrels from Rodriguez family vineyard in the Willamette Valley and one fermented barrel of pinot from Rodriguez and Syrah from Layne vineyard. pinot was picked on two different days ten days apart; as always, it was hand-harvest and fermented whole-cluster from native yeasts. the wine is unfined and unfiltered, with no manipulations beyond the total sulfur addition of 22pm. Rodriguez is farmed organically and was planted in 2000.
