About the Winemaker
Vin De Lagamba is a natural wine project in the Rheinhessen region of Germany, founded by Canadian-born winemaker Alanna LaGamba. Part of the FrauenPower collective of women winemakers in Germany, the estate produces vibrant, expressive wines from this historic wine region.
Alanna LaGamba brought fresh perspective to German winemaking when she established her project in Rheinhessen. Originally from Canada, she was drawn to the natural wine movement and Germany's incredible diversity of terroirs. Her wines reflect both her outsider's curiosity and deep respect for Rheinhessen's winemaking traditions.
Farming & Cellar: As part of the FrauenPower movement, Alanna emphasizes sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wines are made with minimal sulfur additions and typically bottled unfined and unfiltered, showcasing the bright, pure fruit character of Rheinhessen.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.

At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
