About the Winemaker
Losierra is a wine project by Addam Reagan, vinified at Tabeaux Cellars in California.
Addam, who serves as Director of Operations at Tabeaux Cellars, has deep roots in both the Sacramento wine scene and the Austin restaurant world. With an exceptionally high bar for wine quality, he manages Losierra from vine to bottle, spending significant time in the vineyard as well as the cellar. The Joshua's Starry Night vineyard was planted in 2002 by Dr. Elliot and Rosie Krames.
Farming & Cellar: The vineyard has been farmed using organic practices for over 8 years, located on a south-facing slope with granitic soils. The Syrah is cofermented with Viognier and Mourvèdre, foot-tread in half-ton lots and macerated for 5 days. Finished in stainless steel and aged in neutral French and American oak for 10-18 months before bottling.
