About the Winemaker

Kettl is a Brooklyn-based specialty Japanese tea company founded by Zach Mangan, dedicated to sourcing and curating the finest Japanese green teas.

Kettl operates flagship cafés in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and Los Feliz, Los Angeles, partnering with over 40 Michelin-star chefs. The company offers rare Japanese teas seldom found outside Japan, with tasting counters for immersive tea experiences. This Kukicha ferment is a collaboration with Unified Ferments, Brooklyn's acclaimed producer of non-alcoholic tea fermentations.

Farming & Cellar: Kettl sources premium Japanese teas directly from artisan growers, including rare and emerging varieties. For this collaboration, Unified Ferments applies their traditional fermentation techniques to transform Kettl's Kukicha stems into a complex, wine-like non-alcoholic beverage.

US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.

Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!

At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
