Sourced from 50-year-old vines on granite soils, this wine undergoes a whole-cluster fermentation for about 15 days, followed by a short aging period in concrete eggs. The result is a wine that delights with its enticing aroma, blending fresh fruit and subtle mineral undertones.

About the Winemaker

Frédéric Cossard is a key figure in Burgundian natural wine, helping to introduce this revolutionary style to the Côte d'Or in the 1990s. Starting from humble beginnings, he built strong relationships in the region, which led to the creation of his négoce label and Domaine de Chassorney in 1996. Known for his meticulous approach, Cossard produces wines with no additives, focusing on quality and hands-on involvement at every stage. In 2021, he sold Domaine de Chassorney to Aurélien Verdet but continues to produce his négociant wines under his own label.

Shipping Details

US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at 10am in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck. Shipping cost is 30 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value!
