About the Winemaker
Domaine de Romarand is a natural wine estate in Beaujolais, France, located in the cru of Quincié-en-Beaujolais. The domaine represents a new chapter in Beaujolais winemaking, combining respect for tradition with a fresh, artistic perspective.
The estate is run by Anastasia Kritikou and Michele Dall'Aglio, two architects from Greece and Italy who traded building design for viticulture. Their creative backgrounds inform their approach to winemaking—thoughtful, detail-oriented, and deeply engaged with the land they now call home.
Farming & Cellar: Anastasia and Michele farm their Gamay vineyards organically, respecting the granitic terroir that makes Beaujolais wines distinctive. In the cellar, they embrace minimal intervention: indigenous yeast fermentation, whole-cluster pressing when appropriate, and no added sulfites. Their wines capture the bright, joyful essence of Beaujolais.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!
At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
