About the Winemaker
Domaine Muller-Koeberlé, located in Saint-Hippolyte, Alsace, is a fourth-generation family estate now led by David Koeberlé, who has created a new wave of natural wine excitement in the region with vibrant, expressive wines.
In 2012, David inherited 27 hectares from his grandfather, who planted the vineyards in 1961, including the prized 10-hectare Clos des Aubépines parcel. Under David's direction, the estate has become certified for the Vin Méthode Nature label, with wines that have become hits at natural wine fairs across Europe—from skin-contact Gewürztraminers to playful pét-nats.
Farming & Cellar: The estate practices biodynamic viticulture and agroforestry, prioritizing biodiversity and permaculture alongside traditional Alsatian varietals—Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Auxerrois. David and his team share a passion for living wines, producing natural cuvées that express the unique terroir of each parcel without synthetic additives.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!
At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
