About the Winemaker
Garalis Winery is a family winery based on the island of Limnos, Greece, founded in 2000 by Manolis Garalis and Maria Markaki.
The winery began as a lifetime dream of Manolis and Maria, with their first harvest in 2007. Located on this volcanic Aegean island, Garalis specializes in indigenous varieties including Muscat of Alexandria and the ancient Limnio grape, producing both conventional and minimal-intervention wines.
Farming & Cellar: The low altitudes and constant winds of Limnos create ideal conditions for organic farming and natural winemaking. Their Terra series features wines bottled with little or no sulfites, without stabilization or filtration, showcasing the unique maritime terroir of the island.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!
At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!Â
