About the Winemaker
Quinta da Muradella is José Luis Mateo's estate in Galicia's Monterrei region, reviving ancient Galician grape varieties.
José Luis has become a champion of Galicia's indigenous varieties, working with pre-phylloxera vines and forgotten grapes.
Organic viticulture with old vines and indigenous varieties. Native fermentation, aging in chestnut, minimal sulfur.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
