For those nights when you want a glass (or two) without feeling it the next morning. Natural wine can be lighter on alcohol when growers pick a little earlier for freshness and let the fruit do the talking, and that usually means wines that are bright, juicy and very easy to drink.
Start with Two Shepherds' Wiley Carbonic Carignan 2025 (10.7%), a chillable red made with carbonic maceration, so it's all fresh red fruit and very little weight. Marto's Crazy Crazy is a pét-nat from Rheinhessen in Germany at 10%, fizzy, light and perfect for daytime. Two Shepherds' L'il Trouble Mourvèdre is here too, but we're down to the last bottle.
