Greek Natural Wine

Imported from Eklektikon, the nation's #1 importer of Greek wines, we carry a rotating selection of Greek orange wine, rosé and classic-leaning reds.

The Greeks have been at this for a few thousand years, and they still grow hundreds of native grapes you won't find anywhere else. Our small organic growers stick with them: Assyrtiko from the islands and coast, Xinomavro up north, Moschofilero from the Peloponnese mountains, and oddballs like Limniona and Santameriana. Not your average taverna house wine.

Where to start

  • Orange wine: Kontozisis Clear Skies Fear No Bolts (Malagousia, Xinomavro and Assyrtiko) and Sant'Or Santameriana Amphora, fermented in 200-year-old amphorae.
  • Seaside white: Oenogenesis Mataroa Nautical, an Assyrtiko with a few hours of skin contact.
  • Rosé: Kontozisis Sun Rosé, 100% Limniona, and Papras Oreads, Black Muscat from the slopes of Mount Olympus.
  • Reds: Vaimaki Family Popolka Red and Kokkineli, zero/zero Xinomavro from Epirus.

How to drink it

Think Greek vacation: grilled fish, feta, olives, lemon, oregano. Chill the whites, orange and rosé, and give the Xinomavro a little chill too. Opa.
