Escándalo Wines is the Chilean project of Mauricio Veloso, an agronomist and winemaker focused on low-intervention wines from expressive Chilean valleys.
Mauricio studied and worked across Chile, California, New Zealand, and Spain before returning to Chile in 2011. He bottled the first Escándalo wine in 2015 with a simple goal: let the grape speak for itself.
Farming & Cellar: Hand harvesting, gentle fermentation, delicate pressing, native yeasts, no enzymes, steel and concrete aging, gravity settling, no filtration, and low sulfur additions.
