Skin contact wine from Willamette Valley, Oregon. Pinot Gris is fermented on its skins for about 21 days, which gives the wine its color, tannins, and structure. The Riesling is typically direct-pressed and fermented in neutral oak barrels. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, often with only a small addition of sulfur at bottling.
Aroma of soft herbs, hard cherry candy, floral notes (violet, hibiscus), and some earthy/mineral hint. Palette has flavors of cranberry, strawberry, pink lady apples, melon, and citrus. It has a high acidity and some tannic structure, offering a complex mouthfeel.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
