"Aux-er-rwa"

Despite the light appearance, this is a Skin Contact white wine, macerated on Skins for 30 days. Auxerrois is a pretty unique varietal to the Willamette valley region and is usually found in the Alsace region in France (Latitude is just a little north of where Willamette). That being said Auxerrois contains some really desirable citrus and honey flavors, and mixed with the light tannins from the skin contact, we have a really nice balanced wine.

About the Winemaker

"Our philosophy is to make our wines as naked and raw as we possibly can while having them be fun and delicious. We work with organically farmed vineyards in the colder regions of Oregon and Washington State.  We love wines with acid and freshness.  We make the wine that we love to drink.  No conventional additives. Just grapes and (sometimes) a very small amount of SO2 to keep the wine stable in bottle.  Wine is a fermented beverage that should not be a trophy or a status symbol.  Wines made in this fashion are artisanal products that reflect their artist and terroir with no maquillage." - Joe Swick

Shipping Details

US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at 10am in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.

Shipping cost is 18 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value!

At $18, we have some of the most competitive shipping rates compared to other low-intervention wine e-commerce, which can range from $20-$25 a box. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. As a small business, we are simply unable to offer free shipping.
