About the Winemaker

Unified Ferments is a Brooklyn-based producer of non-alcoholic fermented beverages crafted from single-origin teas, founded in 2019 by Young Stowe.

Young Stowe, previously a bartender at Folksbier Brauerei and head of the food program at Covenhoven, transitioned from a wine bar concept to specialize in complex, single-origin tea fermentations. Unified Ferments has been featured in Wirecutter, Food & Wine, The Wall Street Journal, and Bon Appétit, and is served at Eleven Madison Park, Four Horsemen, Atomix, Aska, and Crown Shy.

Farming & Cellar: Unified Ferments sources high-quality single-origin teas and applies traditional fermentation techniques to create sophisticated wine alternatives. Each tea ferment is designed to be stemware-friendly, offering complexity and depth comparable to natural wine—without the alcohol.

US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.

Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!

At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
