About the Winemaker

Cloud Amman is a pioneering natural wine project founded by Amman, a winemaker of Jordanian heritage who champions a cloud winery model—working flexibly across multiple regions and collaborating with natural wine growers worldwide to explore diverse terroirs and wine styles.

Amman embarked on her first vintage in 2022, translating wine knowledge from her studies into practice. Cloud Amman emerged as a bold response to the perceived elitism of vineyard and winery ownership. Despite her global reach working with vineyards in Lebanon, California, and beyond, she remains deeply connected to her Jordanian roots and aspires to showcase Jordan's unique terroir through natural winemaking.

Farming & Cellar: Cloud Amman works with biodynamically-farmed vineyards, employing spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention. The wines undergo skin maceration in various vessels including stainless steel and amphora, with aging in neutral tanks. No filtration or added sulfites are used, resulting in pure expressions of each vineyard's character.
