About the Winemaker
Les Sabots is a natural wine producer crafting authentic, terroir-driven wines with minimal intervention. The name 'Les Sabots' (The Clogs) evokes the traditional wooden footwear of French farmers, symbolizing a connection to artisanal, hands-on winemaking.
The winemaker behind Les Sabots is committed to producing wines that speak of their origin, working closely with the vines and allowing the fruit to guide the process. This patient, intuitive approach results in wines with distinctive personality and sense of place.
Farming & Cellar: Vineyards are cultivated using organic practices that prioritize soil health and vine balance. In the cellar, fermentation occurs naturally with indigenous yeasts, and wines are raised with minimal intervention. Fining and filtration are avoided to preserve the wine's natural character, and sulfur additions are kept to an absolute minimum.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!
At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
