About the Winemaker

Dar Richi is a wine brand founded by Abdullah Richi, a Syrian refugee who sought safety in Lebanon. Settling in the North Lebanon, Richi learned the art of winemaking by observing local producers, including Eddie Chami. Driven by a dream to one day return to Syria and establish his own winery, Richi creates wines that reflect both his personal journey and his commitment to quality. His range includes Hanan, a red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Sangiovese named after his wife, and Helem, a skin-contact white made from Chardonnay, named after the Arabic word for "dream." Richi’s wines are crafted with sustainability in mind, with some offerings certified organic and produced using biodynamic practices. Abdullah's dream is to go back to Syria and establish his own winery there. At Mersel Wine, people are encouraged to follow their dreams and are all for giving back to the community and leaving a positive impact on others.

Shipping Details

US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at 10am in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck. Shipping cost is 30 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value!
