About the Winemaker
Stolpman Vineyards is a family estate in Ballard Canyon, Santa Barbara County, California, founded by Tom and Marilyn Stolpman with a mission to produce world-class Syrah and support their vineyard team.
The 220-acre estate was planted in 1992 on steep limestone hillsides. Winemaker Sashi Moorman has helped establish Stolpman as one of California's most acclaimed Syrah producers. Their 'La Cuadrilla' program revolutionized the industry by offering workers profit-sharing and their own labeled wines.
Farming & Cellar: Stolpman farms sustainably with organic and biodynamic practices across their hillside vineyards. Their 'So Fresh' line features carbonic maceration and zero-sulfite bottling. Wines from La Cuadrilla (the crew) reflect both the estate's terroir and their groundbreaking labor model.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
Shipping cost is 35 bucks a box (up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value! Remember, all orders over $200 get FREE SHIPPING!
At $35, shipping cost is on par with most wine ecommerce. Ultimately, we eat the cost of shipping more often than not because wine can be damn heavy. We can't thank you enough for your understanding!
