About the Winemaker
Fabio Ferracane is a small natural wine estate located near Marsala in western Sicily, Italy. Working with 8 hectares of vines, Fabio continues a family winemaking tradition while embracing contemporary natural wine philosophy.
Fabio Ferracane represents a new generation of Sicilian winemakers who honor their heritage while pursuing minimal intervention methods. The warm, sunny climate of western Sicily, tempered by Mediterranean breezes, provides ideal conditions for growing indigenous varieties like Catarratto, Grillo, and Nero d'Avola.
Farming & Cellar: The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable practices that work with Sicily's unique climate and terroir. In the cellar, Fabio employs spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and avoids technological manipulation. Wines are bottled without filtration and with minimal sulfur, showcasing the pure, sun-drenched character of Sicilian fruit.
US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at noon in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck.
