Love You Bunches
Love You Bunches
THE LABEL SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. The one gift that (literally) tells them you love them bunches. Enjoy by the glass, or served along side your favorite Italian style pasta dish with red sauce.
Peter Stolpman starting making a wine in 2013 called "Carbonic Sangiovese" which now today is the Love You Bunches wine. They opted from the traditional long aging and barreling that sangiovese goes through, to create a "nouveau" style wine that absolutely delivers. In layman terms, "Nouveau" means a wine sold in the same year of the harvest, typically using whole cluster(bunches) and carbonic maceration techniques. The carbonic maceration, which for those unfamiliar, is just the method of trapping the clusters in an oxygen free environment and letting nature do its thing. The result in this case is a young, low tannin wine that POPS fresh red berry fruit, cherries, lychee and pomegranate.
We hope at USNW to always have this wine available on the site, because we think it is top notch and a wonderful example of a consistent, everyday natural wine. If we were able to redo our wedding again, we would serve this wine, and also let the band break curfew.

About the Winemaker
Over 20 years ago, our Founding Partner, Tom Stolpman, discovered what we believe to be one of the greatest viticultural sites on earth. Hidden in the hills of California’s Central Coast, on a rare Limestone outcropping & unobstructed from the Pacific Ocean wind, this unique land is naturally suited to grow Syrah and Roussanne grapes. We are committed to preserving this natural environment for our vines through conscious farming, dry farming, & sustainable employment. In the winery, we prefer native fermentation & minimal manipulation.
Dedicated to sensible farming & winemaking, we believe that we can create vibrant, site-specific wines, with a focus unique to Ballard Canyon AVA, California.
Please note this wine is from Stolpman's 'SO Fresh" line meant for Grapes natively ferment whole, un-crushed, for a delicately high-toned profile. Harvested early for lighter mouthfeel and higher acidity, wines go to bottle early to capture purity and freshness without added sulfur
