Nikkia 2020 Pet Nat Rose

Pink Sparkling wine with a ripe strawberry color, aroma, and palate. Lots of dark cherry, peony, and Mediterranean herbs. Extended aging on lees. Vibrant and fresh! Playful, yet structured. 

In 2013, Djordje Bikicki pulled his family’s vineyards out of the local cooperative and converted them to organic and biodynamic practices and began making his own wines. The result has been some of the most exciting wines coming out
of Eastern Europe. Djordje’s wines are defined by extended maceration for whites, fermented only with native yeast, aged in neutral oak, no filtration, and a minimal amount of sulfites at bottling.
